SAVE THE DATE - NGU REGIONAL SPRING RETREAT!

Happy New Year NGU!

As we enter 2010 I am holding the vision of the Next Generation of Unity thriving and becoming the young men and women that we are destined to be!

This is the theme of the NGU SCUCA (The Next Generation of the South Central Region) regional retreat, "DESTINED TO BE"! The retreat will be the weekend of Friday, March 26 through Sunday, March 28th.

There is no better or more appropriate place for us to hold this retreat than Unity Village in Lee Summit, MO, 15 miles from Kansas City, where it all began. Unity Village is the birthplace of our Unity movement and together we will claim our calling, young adults 18 - 35ish, knowing that we are the Next Generation of Unity, the future of this amazing movement that offers the spiritual message of our day.

Come join other young adults for an empowering, energizing, engaging weekend where we can connect, discuss, meditate and have fun with one another. The weekend will not only be about who NGU is destined to be, but the weekend will hold the space so that each individual can come with an open heart and mind seeking our individual destiny, purpose and call.

unity in purpose celebration was wonderful!

NGU's first unity in purpose celebration at Unity church of dallas last night (6/19) was amazing!! Donna and Carly are wonderful leaders and truly inspiring. Donna's singing gave me chills. And the connections I made last night still fill me up this morning.

I can't wait to do this again! I am so excited to see the energy behind this community and I know it will build. For those that were not able to attend last night-make time for next month! You will not be disappointed.

Dances of Universal Peace was incredible

Dances of Universal Peace was this past Friday. I have never felt more connected to a group of strangers in my life. We started off with a drum circle. The sound seemed to pulse through the room and turn into our group heart beat. Some people twirled and swayed to the music. I rocked and felt like there was nothing but the beat. When we started the dances I felt worried that I would forget the words, which were in different languages. As I started to move I realized the words didn't matter. Bein… Continue

Guidance

Guided by divine wisdom, I soar to new heights of understanding.
There is a gentle stirring within me, a whisper of an idea, that I recognize as divine guidance. Unquestionably, I know that God is my source of good, a constant guiding presence. Uplifted in spirit, I see my way over obstacles that I may have once thought blocked me from realizing my good.
In this higher elevation of divine knowing, I have an overview of the bigger picture. Mountains become molehills, challenges become o… Continue

I am unbounded and free!

I give expression to my inner spiritual light in a way that feels natural to me--by being myself! It requires no effort on my part to be the real me. Authentic living is effortless and liberating.
I accept myself just as I am, just as I was created: a beloved, light-filled expression of Spirit. With a grateful heart, I embrace the qualities God gave me, the special skills and talents that shape my unique experience. By honoring gifts like imagination, creativity, and le… Continue
